After leaving the US Navy in 2004, I started attending UNC Charlotte because it was located near where my parents lived. From 2005-2008, I earned two Master's Degrees, one in Liberal Studies and one in Ethics and Applied Philosophy. From 2009-2015, I earned a PhD in Public Policy.
I consider myself to be an expert in public policy and political science, based off of my doctoral education, with a wide variety of research experiences ranging from education policy to urban policy. I taught research methods courses in undergraduate criminal justice and undergraduate political science courses, as well as being a teaching assistant for doctoral public policy students. I have also taught liberal studies and political science courses.
I have seven years of experience using SPSS for doctoral level research. I spent one thousand hours using SPSS for the quantitative analysis portion of my dissertation and have spent another four thousand hours using SPSS for my research and for assisting my students in their research.
I have a master's degree in Ethics and Applied Philosophy.
I have five years of experience using STATA for doctoral level research.
