Eastern University (Political Discourse)
I'm a current undergraduate student at a liberal arts school. I have always been blessed with intelligence. I got a 2160/2400 on the SATs and a 34/36 on the ACTs. I'm a calculus and political science tutor at school and I have been rated a top-notch tutor by my students. I'm a very personable girl who loves forging relationships and helping people understand things that I am lucky enough to be good at. I typically change my tutoring style with each student depending on their learning style. I've worked with a child on her reading skills (age 8) as well as about 15 college students in math. I've spent a lot of time working on studying and organizational skills myself so I'm happy to help people find their personal techniques for studying and organizing as well.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I scored a 95 on the algebra Regents in 2008. I tutored a total of eight students in college algebra in the last year.
I recently graduated high school in New York so I have gone through all of the Regents and very recently. I received an "Advanced Regents Diploma with Honors" when I graduated in 2013, meaning I took more Regents than necessary for high school (so I've taken just about any Regents you could need help in!) and also averaged above a 90 on all of them. I also have a year of tutoring math at Eastern University under my belt, and was heavily complimented by my students.
I received a 740 in SAT Math in 2012, a total of 2160/2400 on that same SAT in 2012. I have since then worked as a math tutor extensively, most recently through my efforts as a college algebra TA.
