My teaching focusses are multifaceted: I especially enjoy supporting kids in the building of language skills, writing, reading, art making and leading a creative and fulfilled life as a student. I have recently graduated from my Master's degree in Creative Writing & Social Activism with summa cum Laude from the Pratt Institute. This degree has also prepared me to share my skills as a teacher and socially engaged individual in the form of Poetry-for-Everyone workshop, wherein i devised workshops to make poetry more accessible.
I have studied English Literature at the University of London and Creative Writing at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, where I now occasionally also teach. German is my first language and I have lived in German speaking countries for the first 18 years of my life. As a native speaker it is my greatest joy sharing this beautiful language with kids and getting into the intricate and ornate labyrinths that is the grammar and pronunciation of the German language. Ever since living in English speaking countries I have tutored kids and adults, taking on various levels of experience from being a conversational partner to studying vocabulary and grammar.
I can't wait to widen my student circle and have a conversation about how to grow and inspire each other, especially in these difficult times. For me the skills of Writing/Reading/Learning are magical -- Learning is the path to liberation. I would be honored to walk this path together.
