Robert is approved to conduct lessons through Wyzant Online. Wyzant Online allows students and tutors to work remotely via video, audio, and collaborative whiteboard tools. For more information about how online tutoring works, check out Wyzant Online.

If you’re interested in online lessons, message Robert to get started.

After just a couple of sessions, Rob has been able to explain the material in a way that has given my son a clearer understanding of some of the concepts. He has been very flexible with scheduling. Rob is more then willing to increase the length and frequency of the sessions when my son has an upcoming test.

Robert is excellent at what he does, he was able to provide on target, in depth explain still of the material. We are very happy with the assistance he has been able to too use. Thank you very much Robert.

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have 5 years of tutoring experience in math, about 2 years of which is in secondary higher education.

I have tutored High School Mathematics as well as calculus, which uses trigonometry a significant amount.

I have been playing chess for 18 years now. Last summer I started working at Usdan where I teach chess. I can do beginner to intermediate lessons, as well as suggest advanced level literature and apps.

I have a 4.0 in my undergraduate linear algebra course, and successfully achieved my B.A. in mathematics. I am actively interested in algebra as a whole, including linear algebra. I have also helped other students out with linear algebra before as a tutor.

Over the course of my undergraduate career I took many different classes, one of which was a introduction to logic class for freshmen. Additionally, I have my degree in mathematics through which I have been rigorously been trained to think critically and make sound logically arguments. I have taken 3 years worth of classes in which I had to explain step-by-step proofs for myself and the professor to grade.
