Common core, elementary (K-6th)

I have learned how to use hands on experiences to make tough scientific concepts really stick. The next generation science standards guide
my practice. I also have been involved in preparing STEM lessons.

I am certified in special ed, K-12. In my special education placement, I learned how to make student with autism feel more comfortable in the classroom environment. I learned how to modify lessons to meet these students needs, and change lessons on the spot when fitting. Students with ASD are people first, and are treated with respect and understanding.

I have a lot of experiences teaching in elementary school! I have learned how to meet the needs of so many different types of learners in my experiences. I hope to learn more about how
Your child learns best and hear my lessons towards their interests. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me!
