About Margaret

My love of teaching comes from a love of learning. I have my BA in Comparative Humanities with a focus on Global Issues from SUNY Old Westbury, and feeling unfilled I recently completed my Masters from Long Island University in Political Science, with a concentration in International Relations. My area of interest has been Islamic and Arabic Culture and I wrote my Masters Thesis on Democracy in Egypt.

I have several years experience doing research, conducting surveys, as well as peer editing. I love being able to use my knowledge to help others learn new and interesting things about topics they may have never thought they would be interested in before.

I have always enjoyed History and Humanities studies, so I have taken a very diverse course load of classes in these subjects. Ranging from West and the World, World History, Political Theory and International Relations. I also specialize in Islamic and Arabic Culture and Politics.

I look forward to hearing from you and helping you with your studies!
