UNC Greensboro (Int. Global Studies)
Georgia Southern University - Statesboro, GA (Master's)
I was born in Venezuela raised in El Salvador where I grew up learning the Spanish language. I was introduced to the sport of tennis and was able to obtain a full scholarship with athletics at the UNC Greensboro. In my four years of college I studied International Global Studies and Spanish. Studying Spanish opened a lot of opportunities of tutoring around the area where I took advantage to get more experience. Continuing my studies, I went to Georgia Southern University where I got my Masters on Sociology and working full time as the tennis assistant coach for the women's tennis team. While getting my Master's degree I kept tutoring to different high school and college kids where I continue to improve my skills in that area. At the moment I work full time as a tennis coach in Syosset but I have some extra time willing to continue tutoring.
What I love about tutoring is that I get to teach my first language and helping people learn it. Also, accomplishing the different goals each individual has. I have always been a very passionate person, and being a student athlete in the past taught me the responsibility and dedication you need to have while pursuing something. So I am willing to work in different ways to help my students to learn the language. I have taught the language for the past 4 years and being my first language is easier to explain it to others. Please don't hesitate to contact me by email or my phone number! I am excited to work with you! :) I was born in Venezuela raised in El Salvador where I grew up learning the Spanish language.
