I can help you prepare and brainstorm ideas while providing encouraging support and thorough feedback. Want to polish your grammar and vocab skills? We can get that done with a few exercises in one session or two, if you'd prefer. When quizzing, I like to use flash cards to help with memorization and focus, and we can play fun games...

Want to be a poet? As a published poet who has written for more than 10 years, I can help you succeed by brainstorming with you and teaching you the structure of the poetic language.

Currently a student of Mercy College going for an MS in Education, I hold a BS in Literature from SUNY Purchase College.

ADHD

I have worked with students who have ADD/ADHD in the past and help them to focus on the task at hand so that they are able to set a goal and complete it, which will help overall performance and outcome on any given assignment. I have also taken Education courses on the subject and understand the nature of this disorder very well. Having a disorder does not mean you are doomed as a student; it is simply a challenge that can be overcome with encouragement, dedication to overcoming the obstacle, and taking in compassion from self and others.
