I've been teaching English as a Second Language to adults for more than 20 years. I've taught levels ranging from literacy (pre-beginning) to advanced, to Business English to Pronunciation to Listening and Speaking (conversation). With each class, I've learned as much from my students as they have from me. I use a combination of structured and communicative approaches to teach. I teach topics that range from making a doctor's appointment, getting directions, and using the telephone, to apologizing, complaining, and interrupting politely.
