In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. I have learned study skills at part of my curriculum in my program. I have taught a lesson in fourth grade specifically for commanding an essay and using personal voice for the state exam. My students have improved their writing and reading skills with my lessons and teachings.
I will teach students, prefixes, suffixes, contractions, and various other rules involved with vocabulary. Teaching theses strategies will help students understand vocabulary better and be able to use it in everyday life.
