I've been a technical support person for production companies for many years. In those functions, I've had to develop many Excel spreadsheets as well as train many people on use and development of spreadsheets. I've worked with engineers, operators, sales personal, and administrative assistants. My ability to work with all types of people is one of my strengths.
I've learned about spreadsheets out of a need while developing many spreadsheets for specific projects. I've had extensive experience with formatting, formulas, filtering, graphs, and pivot charts. I've written many macros that have saved a great deal of time on repetitive operations. The large majority of people don't even know a small percentage of what Excel has to offer.
I can give anyone that wants to learn about Excel a great base. If there is a specific project that you have in mind, we can work through it together, which is one of the best ways to learn. I will not only teach basic functions, but advanced operations as well. After we work together, you will not only feel very comfortable using excel, but you will understand and be able to use so many of the higher functions that you didn't even know existed.
I work full time Monday through Friday. Other than that, I'm pretty flexible, able to meet with you on weeknights or weekends. I look forward to hearing from you. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
