Hi! I'm a student at NYU right now studying Computer Science with a 3.8 GPA and a passion for CS and math education.
I love watching students and peers reach the moment where they can truly understand a particular concept which helps them develop skills on top of that. Furthermore, I try to describe concepts in a way that makes sense to those learning, not in ways that make sense to professionals.

I believe that trying different learning methods is the key to helping students understand, and take pride in being able to adapt to my students. If a teacher is struggling to communicate a concept to you, then I will take every effort to help you understand it in a way that makes sense--particularly in Computer Science with very abstract topics! If I work with you, I'll help you drill down into the reasons things work the way they are, not just tell you how to do something. I believe that deeply understanding underlying concepts is key, so that's how I like to teach. Understanding how to get to the solution is different than understanding the concept, which is a much richer and stronger way to understand material--you'll be able to reapply the same knowledge multiple times throughout your studies.
I achieved perfect and near-perfect scores in my own standardized exams (800 SATII Math II, 760 SAT Math), and have taken advanced math classes in my own curriculum. I've also helped students previously better understand computer science concepts who were taking AP Computer Science, as well as taught high school students in collaboration with Microsoft.
I'm studying Computer Science at New York University and have worked with AI startups as well as large corporations. I'm experienced in Java and Python with experience in web development and data science.
I hope to be able to work with you to help develop a track to learn any material that you might be struggling with in class! Send me a message and let's figure something out!
