I've been playing saxophone for 13 years, over half my life. I graduated from The New School of Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City, and I study all kinds of music. Whether you're into jazz, rock, pop, or just want to learn how to be more proficient on your instrument I'd love to help! I also am adept in music theory, ear training, and other fundamentals of music. Let me know what you want to study and we can dive right in!

If you have any questions about what lessons with me would look like, feel free to reach out and contact me. Looking forward to hearing from you!

great, easy going, calm, supportive

Ben helped me do the very beginnings. I needed help in just hooking up my piano to my computer and starting to play with a software like Garage Band. He helped with the logistics with Reaper. He helped me get my piano connected, learn to record and edit, and download some virtual instruments. I will definitely be using him again in the future. I wish I could have recorded the interview.

Highly recommend

Ben was excellent and very easy to work with. He helped me with Ireal Pro, but I can tell he knows about a lot about all kinds of musical issues. I highly recommend.

He Knows His Stuff!

Ben did a great job showing me some of the basic and finer points of Reaper in our hour session. I will call on him again in the future, should I need any more help.

Best tutor

Ben was great! He gave me great advice about working with a different program than the more difficult one I had planned on using, then taught me how to use it in an hour. He was able to answer all my questions and he was also friendly and nice. I recommend Ben to anyone who needs to learn about sound editing.

Ben's Saxophone lessons are very useful for my son , who is in middle school band. My son likes Ben's way of teaching music, he is also getting help with improv for Jazz. Ben also helps with suggesting type of reed and practice books. Thanks for the help Ben.
