Hello, my name is Emily. I majored in chemistry at Williams College and have a master's in science and health journalism from NYU.

I really enjoying working with people to understand science. I was a TA for most of college for organic chemistry, neuroscience, and introductory biology. I tried out an array of methods to best succeed in my classes during my freshman year until I found some that worked for me, and it was fun to try out those methods with the students I worked with to find the ones that best helped them understand the material.

I have a dual interest in reading and writing, and have worked as a journalist for the past year. I love thinking about how best to understand and communicate people's stories, and am eager to help with essay writing.
