When I was 5 years old my family moved to Nice, in the French riviera. I attended 5 years of Elementary School there. Back in Tuscany where I was born I finish my studies at the University of Florence with a Diploma in foreign languages and business administration. I also speak Spanish and German at conversation level.
In Florence after my Diploma I got my first job with an American Buying Office as Assistant Buyer for French and Belgian department stores. I was assigned to the shoes and leather department. 5 year later I became Merchandise Manager assisting also American buyers. During my 18 years career I made several trip to New York and Boston were I moved, becoming an American citizen. During my 35 year in America I had many interesting business experiences in Import/Export - Promotion and sale of imported products. Import Manager of an international shipping company. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
