About Molly

Hi! I'm a graduate student studying elementary education and literacy at Bank Street College of Education.

I have student taught in 2nd-4th grades and I am currently completing my final placement with a reading teacher. I have tutored children from 1st-4th grades in reading, writing, spelling, phonics and more. I have experience with a variety of curriculums, including the common core and Fountas & Pinnell. I like to make my tutoring sessions fun and use a variety of games to engage students.

I am generally available after school and on the weekend. During the summer, I also have daytime availability.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
