I am a mathematics PHD candidate from Israel. My wife's workplace relocated her to NYC and I came with. I love teaching and would like to tutor until I find a position in NYC.

I have been a TA for 5+ years in Israel, and I also tutor both undergraduates and grad students. As a TA, I made sure that I taught at least one new course every

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I am a math PhD candidate. I have been a TA for five years during my studies in Israel. I have tutored several students in differential equations.

I am a math PHD candidate. I have been a TA for 5 years during my studies in Israel, and I have taught this particular subject (discrete math) for 3 semesters (I think it was one semester 5 years ago, and both semesters 2 year ago).

Discrete math is a assortment of different subjects (logic, set theory, probability, graph theory, binomials and counting, recursion and induction, etc') and every subject requires different tutoring methods. The important thing is to diagnose the strengths and weaknesses of the student and to allocate your time with him/her accordingly.

I am a math PHD candidate. I have been a TA for 5 years during my studies in Israel, and I have taught both discrete math and linear algebra - the two subjects that compose the majority of the material for finite math.

I am a math PhD candidate. I have been a TA for five years during my studies in Israel. I have taught an advanced course in geometry (differential geometry) for four semesters, and I am proficient with the more common aspects of geometry in a euclidean plane or space and trigonometry.

I am a math PHD candidate. I have been a TA for 5 years during my studies in Israel, and I have taught this particular subject (linear algebra) for 2 semesters.

I have taught both math students, which were strong students and whose syllabus contained advanced subjects like linear algebra over different fields and some ring theory, and students whose majors where somewhat removed from math (I think they where "computational biology" students) which needed more time and practice, so I know how to approach students of different levels and tailor the lessons to their needs.
