I was born in Bogota, Colombia but have lived in the U.S. for 15 years now. I graduated from the College of William and Mary where I double majored in Business Analytics and Psychology. During my four years there I was a writing consultant at our university's Writing Resource Center and I tutored Elementary kids with Spanish.
I now work in advertising in NYC, specializing on kid brands. Needless to say, I am passionate about kids and making an impact in their lives.
Spanish is my first language. I speak it and write it, and have 4+ years of experience tutoring 5th, 6th, and 7th graders in this subject. I was a volunteer in the Readers Are Leaders program for four years.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
