New York University (Neuroscience)
I’m Parth and I am an undergraduate student at New York University, hoping to help students in Math and Science. I am currently majoring in Neuroscience and am heading to medical school in the near future.
I have over two years of combined experience in tutoring, varying from teaching young children to adolescents at a tutoring center. I am fun, friendly, and try to add a twist to my teaching style to keep students engaged. I strongly believe that all students have the potential to rise over the challenges that may come their way, and I would be grateful to be part of their success.
I am proficient in all of the core sciences, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics, as well math leading up to Calculus 1. My main goal for each session is to keep the student engaged and challenged. Depending on the student, I may assign homework. I aim to focus on the biggest weaknesses and work to perfection.
I am generally available on the weekends and can make accommodations for some lessons during the week if need be. My base rate is $50 an hour for in person lessons.
I look forward to hearing from you!
I have continuously received A's in each of my Math classes as well getting a 34 on the ACT in the math section. I currently work in a 3D simulation core where higher level math is much required and therefore I have a strong foundation of math.
I have consistently performed well in Biology and have researched many molecular mysteries in laboratories in some of the best universities: University of Chicago, Northwestern University, and Mount Sinai School of Medicine
I am fun and engaging most of all, which makes more a great tutor. Please feel free to reach out to me!
