Peking University (Economics)
Columbia University (Master's)
I am now just graduated from Columbia University with a master degree in Statistics. I have a bachelor degree in Economics from Peking University, which is one of the top universities in China. I am good at communicating with people with different background and am keen on volunteer work. I had an exchange program in Belgium so I have spent half a year in Europe travelling in about 25 countries. I also spent a summer in UK for a summer school program in Oxford.
Besides, I was the leader for lots of cultural exchange program while in college. I had lots of opportunities sharing my culture and language with people with different background. I am now doing an internship in the UN headquarter in NYC and doing a regular volunteer in the September 11 Memorial & Museum. So we can schedule the class on weekday evenings or on weekends.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am a native Chinese speaker. I had teaching Chinese experience with college exchange students from US, Europe, Korea, Japan and other countries. I showed them Chinese culture and traditions more than just language. I also introduced Chinese songs, films, TV shows to them in case they can learn Chinese in a more interesting way. I prefer to meet in person regularly and contact through email or messages with some pop-up questions.
