About Brandon

Brandon brings his instrument to a young audience with fresh perspective and unparalleled devotion. He began playing Clarinet at age 12 while attending Lavilla School of the Arts and continued his education at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. 

As a soloist Brandon has been heard on stage with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, Ocala Symphony Orchestra, UNF Wind Symphony, and UNF Symphony Orchestra. His previous summers have been spent participating in the prestigious Vianden International Music Festival located in Luxembourg, and the Buffet Crampon Academy.

Eager to invest in the younger generation of clarinetist, Brandon has taught for Fletcher High school, NFC summer camp, UNF summer camp, and has an active studio of talented beginning to intermediate level students. Brandon has studied with distinguished clarinetist such as Sunshine Simmons, Todd DelGuidice, Boja Kragulj, Guy Yehuda, and Peter Wright. He has also had lessons with Charles Neidich, Anthony McGill, and Stanley Drucker. Brandon is a graduate of the University of North Florida, and will be attending New York University Steinhardt in the fall to study with Pavel Vinnitsky to pursue his Master's degree.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have been playing Clarinet for 12 years. I have earned a degree from University of North Florida for Clarinet Performance, and I am continuing my education at New York University. I am very enthusiastic and eager to invest in the younger generation.
