About Eric

I have over four years of experience teaching ESL students at language schools in Canada and the US. I specialize in teaching second language writing and grammar, but I also have experience teaching the other modalities of speaking, listening, and reading. I completed my undergraduate degree in English Literature at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and I am currently enrolled in a Masters program in Applied Linguistics at Columbia University.
I am now accepting clients for the summer that live within walking distance of public transportation. Please contact me via email or phone to schedule an appointment. We will discuss your specific needs at the first meeting and create a learning plan together.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
