Dear NYC Students & Parents,
I have lived extensively abroad in Spain and Latin America and am deeply passionate about the Spanish language. Having experienced many cultures first hand, I bring a unique perspective and story to my tutoring approach. Depending on a student's existing lesson plan, I like to incorporate a diversity of different mediums including but not limited to textbooks, novels, magazines/newspapers, music and video. Learning should be fun and I expect that my students will come with a legitimate desire to improve their proficiency and enjoy themselves.
After receiving my Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, I lived in South America for nearly three years. While living in Buenos Aires, Argentina I worked with English speaking Ex-pats to refine their Spanish abilities as well as tutored business executives on their English grammar skills. Additionally, my recent professional experience includes positions with internationally facing companies requiring a high proficiency in Spanish and deep understanding of global marketing frameworks. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, running, sports, volunteering, cooking, live music, and traveling.
If you have any questions or want to know more about me please don't hesitate to reach out directly.

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
