Statistics

Statistics

I have tutored dozens of students in high school and college statistics. My approach to tutoring is very gentle, patient, and nonjudgmental, in order to help students feel comfortable asking questions and learning challenging concepts. I have learned how to spot any gaps in prerequisite skills that we can then review before trying to master the more advanced topics. I also provide plenty of practice tests so that students can learn to solve the types of problems they're going to encounter on their exams.

Eri is wonderful!

Eri is such a patient, kind tutor who does a fantastic job explaining math! She works amazingly well with my son, who has ASD and ADHD. He is working on high school level math and can get a bit frustrated, but Eri’s calm demeanor, patience and teaching of the math has made him way more willing and open to learning the material!

Knowledgeable and effective tutor

My daughter loved working with Eri. She was entering middle school in the time of remote school due to Covid and Eri helped her immensely with 6th grade math as well as proper study habits and executive functioning. Eri is easy to work with and knowledgable in her field.

A Very Knowledgeable and Patient Tutor

My offspring just had their first session with Eri and they were very happy with the results of the session. Eri was patient, professional, asked a lot of questions in order to understand where they were academically and where they may need additional help. Thank you!
