I am a licensed certified NY State Social Studies Teacher. I have taught and still teaching for 5 years. At this time I work in High School for the NYC Department of Education, I have taught/teach Global History, US History, and Participation in Government. I have a great successful rate for preparing and passing the US and Global History regents. In addition, I work well with students with special needs.

I am willing to travel to Bronx, Westchester and Manhattan. We welcome students from every borough however, they would have to meet with me in the NYC office. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
