My name is Brandon and I am passionate about the field of business. I enjoy helping others who want to educate themselves about business topics and I have been successful in the past when I have helped students in their subjects of need. I have a very hands on approach to tutoring, as I work with the student to find out their areas of desired improvement and think of ways to help the student remember the information in an enjoyable manner. I like to ask students to think about hobbies that they like to do and try to understand how what they are being tutored on can relate to their hobbies, so that they can feel as if they are not doing work on something they do not particularly enjoy. In school, I would learn information to not only allow myself to become proficient in the subject matter, but additionally, I would learn it to teach my fellow peers to understand it as well as I did. I enjoy seeing students succeed, and it is personally satisfying to me when a student enjoys the their success and desires to learn more information about a particular topic or subtopic.
I have a great deal of prior experience in tutoring Accounting, Finance, and Economics courses. I have passed all four parts of the Uniform CPA Examination and I am dedicated and motivated to help students reach their goals. I have tutored extensively in Financial Accounting and Auditing Courses, in addition to introductory economics and finance courses. I am also well educated in the stock market and I am happy to teach students investing techniques for maximizing gains. I am also happy to help a student organize their thoughts for a business plan or even just give them ideas on how to think creatively and approach things with an entrepreneurial attitude. I look forward to the opportunity to help you succeed. My name is Brandon and I am passionate about the field of business. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
