Hello, my name is Wayne. I am excited to help you with every aspect of English: ACT/SAT writing, grammar, vocabulary and ACT/SAT reading. My students' success, is "my" success. Seeing that light bulb come on above their heads and seeing that "ahaaa" smile on their faces is my ultimate goal. Six years of teaching English in middle and high school has made me a well-rounded educator. I graduated from Northern Michigan University, which boasts one of the best education programs in the country, and possess an English teaching certificate in Michigan and Arizona (Grades 6-12).

I specialize in tutoring I am qualified to tutor: ACT English, ACT Reading,English,
Grammar, Proofreading Reading, SAT Reading, SAT Writing, Vocabulary, Writing.
Elementary Education: Elementary Math, Grammar, Reading, Study Skills, Vocabulary
Math: Algebra 1, Prealgebra, Ballroom Dancing and Salsa Dancing

My tutoring style is direct; I try to establish where my student needs assistance. I also prefer to challenge and lead my students so they discover the answer on their own instead of just simply giving it to them. I always make it a priority to incorporate fun, excitement and interactive, elements into my lessons, and I have the innate ability to explain complex things in multiple ways and break them down so that the average lay person will understand. Another strategy I like to use is analogies; I draw similarities between something the student is familiar with and what they are currently struggling with.

I have a 24-hour cancellation policy; however, I am flexible and understanding; things come up. I am also flexible with travel.
