New York University- Stern School of Business (Accounting)
My name is Diana and I just graduated with Honors from NYU's Leonard N. Stern School of Business, with a double-major in Accounting & Management. I am well-versed in all undergraduate business subjects (marketing, management, accounting, business law, to name a few of our core-curriculum), as well as all math and english subjects through high-school. In addition, I am fluent in Hebrew (as well as Jewish religious studies). I have years of tutoring and baby-sitting experience, both within the NYU community as well as the greater NYC area. I would be happy to provide transcripts and SAT scores (SAT and SAT subject tests in Chemistry and Math 1), upon request.
I am a very patient tutor, who believes in teaching students the necessary skills (tips and tricks) as opposed to helping them get through single-time assignments. I am also flexible with availability, and can likely accommodate schedules.
Thank you for your time, and I look forward to being in touch with many of you! Hi there!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have 18 years of Yeshiva (Jewish Day School) education, and have learned Chumash, Navi, Halacha, Parsha, since the age of 2. I am also fluent in Hebrew (both modern language as well as Bible), and served on my middle school and high school's competitive Torah Bowl team.
I just graduated with honors from NYU's Leonard N. Stern School of Business, with a double major in Accounting and Management. Not only have I taken courses in my major subjects, but Stern also requires all undergraduates to take a core business curriculum including courses in marketing, management, economics, statistics, business law, social impact, finance, and business writing.
I would also be happy to discuss my past internships and employment to delve further into my business qualifications.
I competed professionally in middle school. I enjoy playing the game, and don't get tired of playing again and again.
I have always had excellent penmanship, since I first learned how to write. From holding a pencil properly, to taking care to stay between the lines and writing legibly. I am also proficient in Hebrew handwriting, both print and script.
I have 18 years of Yeshiva (Jewish day school) education, and have learned Hebrew since the age of 2. I have always been in the honors hebrew classes, as well.
My mother and sister are both Israeli, so we often speak Hebrew at home, too.
I am fluent (speaking), as well as writing (script and print), and Hebrew texts (newspaper, books, Bible).
I took, and received an A, in NYU Stern's undergraduate marketing course. As such, I have both qualitative and quantitative (working with the P&L) marketing experience. I also interned in marketing two summers ago, and would be happy to discuss this experience at greater length.
I love speaking in front of crowds, always have. I also received in A in my communications class. And, as a very involved student (President of hall council, several student clubs, orientation leaders), public speaking is a central part of my duties.
I also mentor younger students, and help them prepare for classes that involve public speaking as well as extra-curricular public speaking opportunities.
Since I was a middle-schooler, I used a specific regimen to prep for exams. I make a calendar with the days leading up to my examinations with a clear study schedule. In order to prevent getting overwhelmed, I allot a chapter/section a day (or some specified amount) and count backwards from the exam the number of days I would need to complete the full amount of material and leave a full day for review.
I also make use of study tools such as review sheets, flashcards, and study guides.
