I love talking about photography and teaching photography to students of all ages. I am an expert in DSLR operations and Lightroom, proficient in basic Photoshop and InDesign. I love showing people how to leave behind the world of point and shoot and move into the manual mode on their cameras. I will show you everything you need to operate your camera, shoot your best shots, make your best pictures on your computer and then move them onto the internet or print them. I do have a 24 hour cancellation policy but will gladly schedule make up classes. I will come to you - ideal for Lightroom and Photoshop instruction - or we can take a photo walk around various New York City neighborhoods. Robert was very patient with me - as a beginning student with Lightroom I found his instruction to be perfect, not intimidating, and it really helped me grasp the material we covered. I will practice this week, and when we will meet again to delve more deeply into the editing process. I highly recommend Robert for you.
Robert was very patient and was able to give over the information in a clear concise manner. He taught me how to import and export my photos and how to organize my photos in lightroom. He is a great Tutor.
Robert cleaned up some of my files and then we worked on getting me set up to go forward in a cleaner more organized fashion. He was patient and pleasant and I'm beginning to understand the set-up though I have many more hours to go to totally understand.
Robert provided assistance on basic digital SLR camera operation. He was knowledgeable and nice. I would hire him again and recommend to others.
He was knowledgeable and recovered photos that I need and showed me how to do that myself. But my program is so messed up, there was only so much he could do.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
