I currently work as a specialized academic instructor/social skills teacher for students with special needs K-3rd grade. I have experience working with students K-8th grade. During my student teaching internship, I taught reading instruction in a resource class as well as multiple subjects in a cross categorical classroom. I am familiar with common core standards as I teach them to my current students.

I also tutor students in their homes. I tutor students who need support with phonics, fluency, comprehension, writing, and spelling. I absolutely love helping students become stronger in literacy. It is extremely rewarding to see their confidence build every session. My clients have made immense progress at school.
