Hello there, I am 4th grade a special education teacher at P.S 130 in Chinatown, Manhattan. I am also completing my Masters degree in Special Education at Hunter College, one of the most renowned schools for education. I am an extremely passionate teacher that loves to teach. I have a lot of experience working with children. I have worked with students of all ages and needs. I am a very hands-on tutor. I strongly believe that students do not learn unless they can immerse themselves in the lesson through hands-on activities. I am a very friendly and outgoing person. I have no problem working with students in big groups or in individualized settings. With my experience and skill set, I believe that I can make a great tutor for your child.

My reading and grammar skills provide students with easy methods for text comprehension and vocabulary understanding. It is important for me to pinpoint where my students struggle in order to help them. I use various resources so that my students can fully grasp what they're learning.
