I recently graduated from UMD with a Master's in Electrical Engineering. I scored a 790/740 Math/Verbal on my SAT's and went through my entire high-school and college schooling without getting a single B, regardless of the subject. I did this through perfecting a system of self-learning and studying that allowed me to efficiently learn all the required materials whilst still having plenty of time for a social life. I have spent years teaching these skills to many friends, classmates and four younger siblings and greatly enjoy trying to figure out how to explain complex topics in ways that reduces them to simple components tailored to a person's unique mindset and learning style.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I recently completed my Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park. I spent time as both a Teaching Assistant and Research assistant and also tutored many of my peers during my schooling.
