About Sarah

I am a teacher of a special needs classroom for children with Autism and other developmental disorders. I'm also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Licensed Behavior Analyst in New York State. I use this expertise with the students I work with to better individualize material to meet their specific needs.

I have taught and tutored for the last 20 years, both with neurotypical children and special needs children. I've worked with students from age 18 months to 15 years in home settings, private schools, and public schools. I look forward to working with you, too!

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
