Bio

Since I had the opportunity to live in five different countries for extensive periods of time, I've learn that the best approach to reach the cultural level of each individual is presenting yourself with their own language.-
Here is a great quote by Nelson Mandela. . . .“If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. . . . . . If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart.”

I'm delighted to inform any prospective applicant about my qualifications:

I am a native from Argentina born from Italian ancestors.
My education was instructed totally in Spanish but I had the privilege to learn
French as well at the Alliance Francaise in Buenos Aires during my youth.
My career was originally projected into economics but life has its turns and
spikes and in my case a scholarship obtained through the Austrian Consulate in
Argentina defined and consummate my Hotel orientation in Salzburg during the seventies.
After few years of intensive training and wonderful experiences I had the opportunity
to visit several European countries absorbing cultural elements which are key for the
future of any generation (amongst them, languages!)
In 1974 landed in Brooklyn, New York, where started a productive Hotel career in the front
lines of some prestigious hotels, to name a few, The Plaza, The Carlyle, The Pierre and
finally becoming the chef concierge of the Mark Hotel until 2003.
Since then I managed my own company, also related to the hospitality business until the
last day of December of 2012.
Getting to my roots, I love to dance Tango, Milongas and Wals and during the last decade
I had the opportunity to teach Spanish to many of my friends in the tango community who
were typically enthusiastic to visit my native country of origin pursuing a quick brush
with their own Spanish (some with the notion that because you are a New Yorker at hard
you suppose to know what Spanish is all about). . . . . . as a result I'm happy to inform
that basically all the people returning from their trips were very congratulatory of the
specifics that I'd implemented for them before their departure, and that made me very glad!

I remain very open to any other question any one of you may pose, please do not hesitate to speak up.
Thank you very much for the opportunity, much oblige. Giorgio (2-5-13)
