My approach to learning has always been one of intense curiosity followed by finding out how things work or why did so and so say what he or she said. Learning should not be tedious or daunting, it should open the door to new ideas and new horizons and be an exciting part of a young person's life. Reading is one of the most important parts of the learning process and I've stressed this whenever I've had the opportunity to help young people with their studies. I am a patient and understanding person and I know that listening is a very important part of the communication process, especially with young people. I would like to share some of my extensive knowledge with young people who are striving for excellence.
I am proficient in 4 languages (including English) and I am very well read in all of them. I have had a varied and interesting career, ranging from being an actor on the stage and screen to a personal manager as well as other positions in the entertainment field. I have also excelled in the corporate/business world. I was Branch manager at a large telemarketing firm, a financial advisor at Prudential and have managed a large sales force that dealt with the US Government. My educational background is a little different from most; I have a French Baccalaureate in French Philosophy from the Lycee Armenien de Beyrouth, a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre from the Boston Conservatory of Music and studied French Philosophy at the Sorbonne for a little more than a year. I have had a Series 7, series 63 and insurance licenses when I worked as a financial advisor. I have had several short stories and some poetry published and I am active in my community.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Lycee Armenien de Beyrouth is where I was first introduced to the language. I subsequently graduated from the school with a Baccalaureat in French Philosophy. I continued my studies several years later in the master's program at the University of Paris (La Sorbonne)
Italian is my first language and I also studied it in college. I have been back to my place of birth (Milano) on several different occasions.
I attended college to study theater and know how to address large audience. I have performed in front of as many as 6000 people in the past and learned how to deliver a speech but also how to make it enjoyable.
I have trained as an actor and performed in the theater for more than 15 years. I also have extensive knowledge of plays, musicals and the business side of theater.
I am a published author in three languages and have a background in theatre which makes me an excellent story teller.
