Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Adobe Flash

As an Adjunct Professor at Touro College, I have and am still teaching web design. In addition to Adobe Dreamweaver CS6, my students learn the fundamentals of Adobe Flash CS6. Students build image galleries in Adobe Flash and place them in their Dreamweaver document. Students learned action script 3. Basic skills included working with key frames, buttons, symbols and movie clips.

As a Freelance Digital Art Director, some of my clients request flash slide shows for their websites.

I also acquired a certificate from Pace Adult Learning Center in Web Design. I learned how to make simple and complex slides shows for a website. The complex slide show involved a database with a loader. Action Script 2 and 3 were introduced and utilized for these slide shows.
