"I hate writing!" This is not an uncommon sentiment, even if it is not stated out loud. As a writer and a writing teacher of 25 years, I know why so many have this feeling. There is often a disconnect between what people want to write or say and what teachers and editors expect. I can help bridge this gap. I know what teachers, professors, editors, and readers want. I have worked with learners of all ages, at all levels, in a variety of settings, including classrooms, hospitals, libraries, living rooms, boardrooms, and even cyberspace. I can help guide any struggling writer and help him or her see improvement and gain confidence, and maybe wind up saying "I love what I wrote!" Please note that I work only with learners who are in high school or college, or who are adults.

I started my first semester of graduate school excited and ready for the challenge, but I quickly discovered that my writing skills were not at a graduate level. I utilized the college writing center but did not feel totally satisfied with the results. My grades were improving, but I always felt pressed for time with writing center tutors. So, I returned to the service that so faithfully serviced my tutorial needs in the past, WyzAnt.
This company has the best tutors and thus far I do not recall being unhappy with anyone I chose. Though my last writing tutor was pricey, she was still a good pick, but Donald is frankly awesome. He has delivered services that are above satisfactory. He quickly responds to my numerous email requests and he returns the paper promptly with excellent suggestions on how to improve my writing.
In Donald, I found a tutor who generally loves to help and who is there for his students. This is very important to person like myself who has limited time off due to my working schedule. He is sensitive of my time and he is a wonderful person. Anyone considering a writing tutor, Donald is the only recommendation I will provide.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
