Elisabeth is extremely clever, patient, encouraging and she has a powerful voice! My daughter started vocal lesson with her and just after a few lessons I could already see improvements in her voice and in her confidence. I feel very luck to have found such a caring and talented teacher.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Hi! I played piano for 14 years, have a bachelor's in music performance from Oberlin Conservatory and have taught privately for a couple of years. I am happy to send a list of teachers if that would be helpful.
I have a bachelor's in music from Oberlin Conservatory. I received high marks in the Aural Skills tests that I took in college. I am a professional opera singer, and I played piano for 14 years. I am happy to provide a college transcript if requested. In addition, I have sung for several churches in both solo and choral capacities. This often requires sightreading in front of a group of people. I studied music theory both before and during college and use this information to teach sight singing as well.
I have a bachelor's in Voice Performance from Oberlin Conservatory. Previous to that, I obtained a certificate from Julliard Pre-College in Voice Performance. I have been studying singing continuously since I graduated in 2008 with a nationally renowned voice teacher. I have performed professionally in several opera houses in and around NYC. In addition, I have been teaching singing lessons since college. I studied vocal pedagogy while in school and am certified to teach through Oberlin Conservatory.
