I loathe statistics on any level, therefore, I dreaded going into tutoring sessions on this subject. Dr. Z is VERY patient and his experience allows him to word and reword problems "until" I understand. He ensures that I have complete understanding and he calms all of my fears and trepidations. I actually left my third session saying, "I like this stuff!" He's a true gem of a tutor and a pleasure to work with! I'd recommend him to anyone!
Mr. Bob Z. is a phenomenal tutor with demonstrated expertise in Statistics. He is extremely committed to providing you with the tools to comprehend the
material. I am certain, that having Mr. Bob Z. as my tutor will prove to be extremely beneficial for me.
Bob is an excellent tutor, thank you
Working with Bob has been the most unstressful event ever. He has the tendency to make a person feel like what they don't know they knew all along. He has more patience then a Guru and more teaching ability than most of the Professors I have come across. If you are out there struggling with research I employ you to get in touch with Bob because I can honestly say he is the BEST.
As soon as I located Bob on WyzAnt I sent him an email. Within minutes he called me back and spent a half hour on the phone trying to get a clear picture of what I needed help with. He is incredibly patient and kind. He is a retired professor from the university I am currently attending so he was very familiar with the Stats course I am taking. Since I needed help right away and could not go down to the city, I emailed Bob all my material. The very next day he sent me his suggestions in the margins with explanations of why my answers were incorrect.
I am glad to have found Bob and will be using him in the future for my Stats III and Stats IV courses. Other people in my class have also called him and will be using him in the future. With reasonable rates, Bob is a professional, caring tutor who will definitely help you get through your material! He is highly recommended.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am a neuropsychologist with a 20 year research program investigating the causes and remediation of reading disability. I have published extensively in the area including a 60 page expert paper for the UN. My approach to remediation is simple and very effective, but is counter to the consensus of the Establishment. If using the Establishment approach has not proven effective, you might want to explore.
My approach is to educate the parents on some very simple concepts and techniques.
