Hi! I'm Ezra. I've spent years getting to know the LSAT like the back of my hand. I'm not here to hype some proprietary curriculum. Instead, I believe I offer unmatched insight into how you can become exceptional at taking the LSAT.
My view is that at the top score bands, the LSAT punishes some of the smartest test-takers. The precise skills the exam purports to measure--critical thinking, complex reasoning, and attention to detail--often give bright students indecision, which wastes precious time and confidence. Thus, earning a GREAT score requires a specific mindset that takes practice to achieve.
I've been in your shoes, quite recently, and know LSAT success is as much about managing anxiety as it is about comprehending exam concepts. Few adults truly understand the pressure LSAT-takers face in today's ultra-competitive admissions environment. My approach is not to deny those feelings, but to accept them as a manageable aspect of the exam.
Have you ever learned to play a musical instrument? Excell at a sport? Can you type without looking at the keyboard? To the untrained, those skills may seem almost impossible. But chances are you can do one of those things with relative comfort. I consider LSAT excellence a similarly learnable process.
I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Colorado College in 2017 and have since worked for a nonprofit consumer protection organization. In that role, I've frequently been in the position of teaching high-stakes material to a variety of audiences, including 1-on-1, over a range of media. As part of my ongoing journey to practice law, I spent several years mastering the LSAT, and earned a perfect 180 on the September 2020 exam.
Whether you are brand new to the LSAT, or just trying to figure out what's holding you back from the next score band, I encourage you to schedule a session and see if we are a good fit.
Regardless, congratulations on taking an important first step in your legal career!
