My name is Diana and I am a Visual Artist and Art Professor based in New York City. I hold an MFA in Studio Art, a BFA in Painting and Drawing, and an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Art Education. I am currently working toward a Certificate in Media and Technology from Harvard Graduate School of Education. When I am not teaching, I work as a professional artist, showing my art and participating in residencies in the New York City area, across the United States, and abroad.

I love working with students to help them develop their creative voices and share them with others. I specialize in Foundational Drawing, Painting and Mixed Media, and I also have experience with Photography, Video, and Papermaking. In addition to working with students who are interested in art as a hobby, I also help students with applications to competitive art programs at middle schools, high schools and colleges, and have taught all ages, from Preschool to adults. I am the founder of Artful and Educational, a company that empowers artist and teachers to unleash their creativity and make the art they have always wanted to make.

In addition to teaching Studio Art, I also offer English conversation lessons about Art History for English Language Learners, and help students of all ages with their reading, writing and speaking skills.
