I am a teacher in Queens and have experience with students over the last 10 years. I have been a camp counselor, camp director, tutor and now a teacher. I first received a tutoring job when I was 17 years old working at an after school center. I helped other students my age with their homework until I went to college where I began to study education.

When I studied education, I had a lot of opportunities to learn in the classroom and study the best approaches to individualized learning. I am very passionate about education as well as individualized goals for each student. After college, I was hired at a school in Queens shortly after college. I worked as a 5th grade teacher, 4th grade teacher and now as an ELL teacher. I have 5 years of teaching experience and I am rated highly effective.
I recently had a client for 2 years from wyzant move out of state so I am now looking for a new client to help them grow. I can help with common core curriculum as well as other curriculums from iReady, GoMath or Envisions. I have a lot of exposure as well as access to several curriculums. I can help with homework, prepare for standardized tests, chapter tests as well as create lessons specific for your child.
