University at Albany SUNY (Spanish Language)
I am Spanish heritage speaker and also a recent graduate in Spanish language studies. I have tutored students before and I very much enjoy it as I plan to begin my certification for teaching very soon. I try to use natural learning methods such as conversations, readings and video lessons in order to have students learn the language in a natural way. I also focus on grammar and phonetics whenever needed. I hope to help others in learning and or developing their Spanish skills. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or if you would like to schedule a lesson.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I read and deeply study the Bible on a daily basis by consulting various translations, scholarly websites to understand the history and context, and by searching the original translation of the scriptures in Hebrew, Aramaic and or Greek to get an accurate context of the passages. I have studied the Bible on my own as well as in small groups and at my local church for the last five years. I also lived in Israel for five months last year and I was able to acquire a deeper understanding of the Jewish customs and religious interpretations of the scriptures. I have lead Bible study groups for a year now and I can help give understanding to those with interest in Biblical studies.
