I've always had a passion for computers and have excelled in math and all related coursework. I find it easy to explain to my peers how to solve problems pertaining to these subjects and can do so in the simplest way possible. My favorite programming language is Java, but I do have experience and knowledge in C++. In the fall I will be returning to college to resume my studies in computer science and to earn my bachelor's degree.
I maintained placement on the dean's list while attending college. I have always had a knack for computers. I was president of my computer science club, and was often asked for assistance in solving problems by my fellow classmates.
I currently work part time and have a flexible schedule. I always enjoy meeting people or children that share a similar passion for computers and programming. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
