Hi! Congratulations! You've already completed the hardest thing to do. You've asked for help!

I am a very experienced Math tutor and Engineering Instructor who knows how to explain to you in a way which you can understand, so that you too can enjoy the amazing ability to reason through the toughest sounding problems with ease.

My special skill is that I will reach you where you are now and use that to build a solid foundation which you can trust to support you as you go on to whatever level you will desire.

I excelled in Math through my years at the Bronx High School of Science and throughout Westchester Community College where I worked for 2 years as a tutor at the WCC tutorial center and also tutored others privately.

I continued to excel at understanding and explaining Math to others as I earned my Bachelor of Engineering degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, NY.

My students have always told me that I made it simple for them because I didn't try to impress them with what I know, but I instead impressed them with what they already know.

In my 30 year career with the US Army Corps of Engineers, I served as an instructor for several "on-the-job" training courses. There, I enjoyed reaching others by first understanding what they were thinking, where they were going off track and where they were correct. Then, I'd explain what they needed to add to their understanding to complete their ability to understand difficult subjects with great success.

I will promise you two things:

1. I will not try to impress you with what I know. Instead we'll explore together what it will take for you to see what you've been missing.

2. I will be patient and kind with you because as a team we will break through to understanding.

I look forward to seeing the look on your face when you come to realize that you ARE able to learn Math when it is presented as plainly as I will make it for you!

I am a very experienced Math tutor and Engineering Instructor who knows how to explain to you in a way which you can understand, so that you too can enjoy the amazing ability to reason through the toughest sounding problems with ease. I excelled in Elementary Math in all my primary grades as well as throughout my years at the Bronx High School of Science and throughout Westchester Community College where I worked as a tutor for classmates at the WCC tutorial center and also tutored others privately. I continued to excel at understanding and explaining Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry to others as I earned my Bachelor of Engineering degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, NY. The day to day practice of these topics as the tools of my trade in my Engineer career, has made it easy for me to demonstrate practical application and meaningful examples for Geometry and applied math subjects.
