Hello! I am Gautam. I am currently a 4th year medical student at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and will be granted a Medical Doctorate in 2023. I graduated from Emory University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology (3.99 GPA). I have received a 34 on the ACT, a 516 on the MCAT, a 256 on USMLE Step 1, and a 264 on USMLE Step 2. In addition, I am a member of the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha honor societies.

I have previously taught both biology and chemistry. I have taught chemistry in a small and large group setting environment to undergraduate students for 3 years, and have also tutored biology one-on-one with middle school and high school students for 2 years. I have also taught my medical student peers effective strategies to study and score well on medical board exams. The typical age range of my students are from their early teens to mid 20's.

What sets me apart from other tutors is that I have a passion for education. I strive to achieve a comfortable, warm, and flexible environment for my tutee, and aim for day one to adapt our tutoring sessions to their specific learning style.
