Hey all,

My name is David and I am currently a 4th year medical student completing a year-long HIV vaccine research fellowship at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, WA. I am interested in tutoring science majors and/or healthcare professional students who are struggling with mastering material at the undergraduate or graduate level. I have been trained as a clinician via medical school and as a basic scientist via my extensive research experience. I feel very comfortable with teaching general biology, anatomy, biochemistry, microbiology and physiology. I also have 3+ years of tutoring experience, as well as proven success in medical school (AOA honor society distinction, currently ranked in the top 10% of my class, 90% percentile and above on clerkship exams, 10 publications, several research awards, etc). Thus, I am confident that I am equipped with the experience and knowledge to help you succeed!

$45/hr is my listed current rate but I am also very much willing to work with your budget. Furthermore, as someone whose success is the byproduct of strong mentorship, I will pay it forward by providing as much guidance to students who aspire to become physicians, scientists, or other healthcare professionals.

I really look forward to hearing from the future doctors and leaders in science!

Best,

David

Best Tutor!

David has made a positive difference in my life. He is very knowledgeable, and uses his knowledge to teach me new skills, and help me accomplish my goals. David makes time during his busy schedule and always puts in maximum effort into every session that we have. “A teacher affects eternity, he can never tell where his influence stops”. Super knowledgable and helpful!

Went over amino acids and protein characterization, he was really knowledgeable about various techniques for characterizing proteins and it was very obvious that he did a lot of preparing for our tutoring session which I really appreciated!
