I am a 7th grade social studies teacher in New York City. I work with students in grades 6-8 currently. Currently our school has pushed a large emphasis on reading and writing skills for our students. I follow this emphasis throughout my tutoring sessions as well understanding that these skills are needed to be successful in the future.

Although I work with middle school students I have worked in a high school setting and help students graduating high school prepare for college. I have also helped some high school students to apply for colleges showing them the proper procedures and important information needed in college application essays.
