I tutored elementary through high school students in subjects like math, science, and writing, developing personalized learning plans that focused on building confidence and true understanding—not just short-term results. Watching students gain not just better grades but a better relationship with learning is what made me fall in love with this work.
I’m now a rising senior at Duke University, majoring in Computer Science. I regularly tutor high school and college students in computer science, including AP Computer Science and introductory programming, as well as math, science, writing, and test prep. Beyond academics, I serve in several leadership roles on campus where I coach peers in communication and strategy, which has further strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly and meet students where they are.
My tutoring style is patient, structured, and student-centered. I focus on breaking down difficult material into manageable steps and helping students build strong problem-solving habits they can rely on across subjects.
