University at Albany, SUNY (Math and Comp Sci)
I have a double major from SUNY University at Albany in Computer Science (B.A) and Mathematics (B.S). I've had a passion for Math and Technology for a lot of my life and very much enjoy sharing my passion with my students. At a young age I hated math but with the right tutor I was able to understand it and then it became my best subject and eventually my major. From this I learned the importance of a great tutor.
Many people dislike a subject because they do not truly understand it. Once they truly understand it, starting with the core and foundations they will excel much higher than they knew they could and be surprised with their enjoyment in the subject. I find great deal of joy in my student's success, and that is my primary reason for why I tutor.
As a student, I will help you strengthen all your weaknesses at your own pace and level. You will enjoy something that you never thought you would. I will not just help you get through a course, test or assignment. I will truly open your eyes to the subject and show you how non-intimidating, easy, and delightful it can be. I have a double major from SUNY University at Albany in Computer Science (B.A) and Mathematics (B.S). I've had a passion for Math and Technology for a lot
Eitan is professional, punctual, knowledgeable of his subject matter, and explains the lesson at hand in an easy and timely fashion. In my case, it has been Windows 8. I require great patience and he displays that as well. I would recommend him highly as a tutor.
I tend to try to move quickly on the keys and wind up hitting the wrong keys when typing. I think I need some of Eitan's patience. Eitan explained things to me in a way I could understand. If the first explanation didn't work, he tried another one. I can set up a spreadsheet and other things that he made it so easy to understand. It was a pleasure working with Eitan.
Eitan is an excellent tutor. He has a way of explaining things that makes it easy to understand for my son. We are very pleased with him.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
